Although Stay Gold Hosting is fairly new, my experience in websites and digital media goes back to sometime in 1996. I come from a media background where I dabbled in photography and film. Computers and technology have always been interests for me so the Internet and websites was a logical progression. In 1997 Stay Gold Productions was born. This company produced video productions ranging from local access TV commercials to corporate projects. Of course every company needs a website so rather than hiring someone else I began to learn about creating websites. With the help of the Internet and a few talented individuals my knowledge of website creation raised to the level of "just enough to be dangerous". After trail and error and with the aid of software I began to create sites with the look and feel of my media productions. Both the video production and website design branches of Stay Gold Productions have grown steadily over the years and I continue to learn about new technologies. I started Stay Gold Hosting after getting tiered of setting up accounts for my various clients and paying someone else to do it. Like the website design adventure the knowledge is all out there. I started this venture because I wanted to have control of my clients sites and domains and offer personal and professional service to a select group of small business clients.
